At 05:40 on a Tuesday the Erasmus Bridge belongs to forty runners and one tram. The lights are still on, the river is black, and nobody talks for the first kilometre.
One rule
Bring a light. Headtorch, clip, phone, anything. From the Kop van Zuid side the group looks like a string of lamps moving over the water.
