Ten days, four spots and coaches who get even the least sporty person riding. Groups of four, never more.
Great footage means nothing if after a week you still have not ridden your first stretch of water. We teach, we do not entertain. Every trip is built around one thing — your progress — and the spot, the schedule, the wind window and the evening video review all answer to it.
Every program is ten days with your own coach, all the gear, insurance and evening reviews. Beachfront accommodation is included.
VELARA started with one house in Paje and two kites shared between four people. Today it is four spots, eighteen IKO-certified coaches — and still groups of four, because anything larger kills progress.
Five people who spend more than two hundred days a year on the water. Each one keeps the same group for the whole trip, from the first kite launch to your first solo run.
Yes. Kiting is not about strength, it is about reading the wind — the gear pulls, not your muscles. The average age in our groups is 34, and 96% of riders are going solo by day seven.
Beachfront accommodation, coaching, all gear, the safety boat, insurance during sessions, breakfasts and evening video reviews. Only flights and visas are on you.
No. Every spot has its own shed: kites from 5 to 17 m², boards matched to your height and weight, wetsuits and radio helmets. Bring your own kit if you have it and we will help you tune it.
Four per coach — a hard rule, not marketing. On Kite from zero the first two days run one-on-one.
Spots are chosen on statistics: in season the wind holds 22 to 26 days out of 30. Flat days go to surf, foil, freediving or theory — and the missed hours are added back at the end of the trip.
Four riders per coach, four spots worldwide, and a season that does not wait for you to be ready.
