Technology
Built aroundthe battery.
Most electric cars hide a battery under a body. We built a body around a battery — and let the battery carry the car.

(01) — Structure
The cellsare the floor.
4,416 cells in a carbon case bonded into the tub. The pack carries suspension loads like the floor of a building carries its walls.
Result: a stiffer car than our petrol rivals, 210 kg lighter than a separate pack and frame.

(02) — Motors
Four motors.Four brains.
Axial-flux motors, 400 hp each, the size of a cake tin. Each wheel has its own inverter and its own decision.
In a corner the outside wheels push and the inside ones hold back. You feel the car turn before you finish turning the wheel.
(03) — Charging
14 minutes.10 to 80.
800-volt architecture. On a 500 kW charger the X1 adds 380 km while you finish an espresso.
Silicon-carbide inverters.
Held to 60%.
Pre-conditioned on the way.
Wall unit included, installed by us.

(04) — At home
We cometo you.
Every X1 comes with a wall unit, installed by our technicians, and a charging truck for track days and grand tours.
The car learns your week. It charges at night, warms the cells on cold mornings, and tells you when the sun is cheapest.

(05) — Chassis
Pushrods,not promises.
(06) — Light signature
Seventeenlamps.
The lamps are software. They greet you, show the charge level along the flank and pulse red under hard braking.
