04 — Services

Four ways
we are hired.

Prices below are studio fees — drawings, specification, colour and site visits. They never include the building work, the furniture you buy or the licence your council wants.

A restaurant with yellow walls and yellow chairs
01 — from €12,000

Cafés & restaurants

Layout, seating counts, lighting and the whole colour scheme — plus the unglamorous half: extraction routes, acoustic panels, and a counter your staff can work behind for ten hours without hating you.

We spend a full shift in your current place, or in the closest thing to it, before drawing anything.

  • Survey and seating planincluded
  • Colour scheme, painted at 1:1included
  • Lighting and acousticsincluded
  • Counter and joinery drawingsincluded
  • Site visitstwice weekly
  • Typical duration8–14 weeks
A vibrant retail display in orange, green and purple
02 — from €9,500

Shops & showrooms

The route a customer walks, the light that falls on the goods, and a background that flatters the stock instead of competing with it. Display systems designed to be rebuilt by whoever is on shift.

If you sell things that change weekly, we plan for the mess rather than pretending it will not happen.

  • Customer route and zoningincluded
  • Display and shelving designincluded
  • Retail lighting schemeincluded
  • Signage and window+€1,400
  • Site visitsweekly
  • Typical duration6–10 weeks
A woman leading a meeting in a colourful office
03 — from €18,000

Workplaces

Offices for teams that outgrew the flat they started in. Desk planning, quiet rooms, acoustics, and enough daylight to go round — with the colour on furniture and textiles so it moves when you do.

We plan for the headcount you will have in two years, not the one on the lease today.

  • Furniture specification and tenderincluded
  • Move-in coordination+€2,800

Colourful paint swatches displayed on a wall
04 — from €1,900

Colour consulting

Just the palette, for a room that only needs repainting or a project that already has a designer: three colours, where each may go, exact codes, finishes and sheen levels.

Delivered as painted samples on your wall, plus one page of instructions your painter can actually follow. No mood boards.

  • Site visit and light assessmentincluded
  • Three colours and the ruleincluded
  • Painted 1:1 samplesincluded
  • Codes, finishes, quantitiesincluded
  • Second round of samples+€450

Money

The awkward questions,
answered first

Everything we are asked about money before a project starts. The rest we cover at the first visit.

What does the fee cover, and what does it not?
It covers the survey, drawings, colour, specification, tender support and site visits. It does not cover the building work, the furniture itself, or council licences — those are quoted separately so you always see what is ours and what is not.
Roughly what does the building work cost?
In Lisbon, a café fit-out runs €700–1,400 per m² depending on how much plumbing moves; a shop, €400–900; an office, €500–1,100. We show you the last three tenders at the first meeting so the numbers are real ones.
How is the fee paid?
Thirty per cent to start, forty when the drawings and colours are approved, thirty at opening. Colour consulting is a single payment on delivery of the samples.
Can we start with just the colour and decide later?
Yes, and about a quarter of our clients do. If you go on to a full project within six months, the consulting fee comes off the first invoice.

One hour on site beats any brief.
