Two hundred records, chosen by the team, played on every headphone we could buy. Notes on all of them.
Thirty-one driver samples from four factories. The beryllium dome won on the third day.
Eight microphones, tested on the S-train, the airport metro and the Copenhagen fish market.
Six engineers, four genres, one curve. The 2 kHz shelf moved 0.5 dB nine times.
Two hundred listeners wore prototypes for a month. We changed the cushions twice.
