The green one people actually finish — the apple is in there out of honesty, not marketing.
Every juice bar has a green bottle and most of them are undrinkable without a third of the volume being apple. Ours is a quarter, and we say so on the label. Celery does the work; the apple keeps you from putting the bottle down after two sips.
Chlorophyll is the bottle our nutritionist gets the most questions about, and her answer is always the same: it is a vegetable you can drink on a bad morning, not a replacement for eating.
What is inside
Whole stalks, leaves included. The leaves are bitter and they are the reason this does not taste like water.
Granny Smith, pressed with the core. Sharper than it sounds and it keeps the colour from browning.
Spinach goes in last and cold. Parsley is there for the smell more than the taste.
