House on a slope

The plot falls 4.2 metres. The house is spread over three levels following the ground, so a full-length retaining wall was not needed. You enter at the middle level: half a storey up to the bedrooms, half a storey down to the living space.

Annexe refurbishment

A 1904 building in a conservation area. The façade was kept entirely; inside, all the later partitions came out. Approval took nine months — longer than the technical drawings themselves.

House for two

Our smallest project and one of the hardest. Ninety-six metres with no corridors: every route passes through the living space and the storage is built into the thickness of the walls.

Ceramics workshop

Production, storage and a showroom in one volume. The kilns need extraction and their own electrical supply; the showroom needs quiet and light. The store sits between them.

Flat with a private courtyard

A ground-floor flat opening onto an enclosed courtyard. The courtyard became an extension of the living room: one floor level and the same stone inside and out.

A plot right against the treeline. The bedroom windows face north so the sun does not wake you, while the living room turns towards the sunset.
