Why we put pearl in everything

Mother-of-pearl is mostly aragonite and conchiolin, a protein. Ground to two microns, it reflects light and softens the look of texture.

It also carries amino acids that skin uses to repair itself. That is why it sits in seven of our twelve formulas.
