We chose the five Onda velvets in one afternoon, at a north-facing window in the showroom, with swatches pinned to a board.
Why navy
Navy was the only one that looked darker in the morning and brighter at dusk. Every other colour did the opposite.
The pile
Velvet has a direction. Upholstered the wrong way, a sofa looks patched. That is why one person does the whole Onda.
