Soft Geometry

Lena Brandt. Twenty paintings in earth pigment, hung on walls painted to match each one.

(About the show)

Twenty paintings in earth pigment, hung on walls painted to match each one. Brandt’s “soft geometry” borrows the grids of Bauhaus and lets them melt. Circles slump, squares lean, colours are mixed by hand from earth pigments.
