Fourteen new paintings, the largest four metres wide. Okafor’s first show in Berlin since moving here, and her loudest yet. Okafor paints at the scale of a wall and the speed of a sprint. Her canvases are built from dozens of thin layers of pure pigment, scraped back and repainted until the colour starts to hum.
