The auctioneer opens below the low estimate and moves in steps of about ten per cent. Raise your paddle clearly, and keep it up until the auctioneer has seen you.
If the hammer falls on your bid, the lot is yours. The buyer’s premium is added to the hammer price, and you have seven days to pay and collect.
